My Background

I participated primarily in athletics and dancing during primary and high school but, like many people, did little to no exercise after leaving school. I have first hand experience of using diet and exercise to lose weight. I lost 30kg over a nine-month period and have maintained that weight for almost ten years now.

Every day still presents it's dietary challenges and I'm very proud of rising to them, but my continued passion for fitness has also been very rewarding to me. If you'd told me that I'd be working out seven days a week (and loving it) ten years ago, I would've thought you were being funny. I'm sure that if I can make lasting lifetime changes such as these, anyone can!

The core of my own training is the same as what I advocate for my clients; balance and variety. I combine a regular program of weights with walking, yoga, jogging, core strength exercises & the occasional aerobics class to ensure I’m not creating any overuse injuries, I’m still constantly challenging myself, staying interested and getting the results that I want.
